Job Description

Summary:   Responsible for leading coordinating the Financial Planning & Analysis activity across Chromalloy; Be a Finance business partner support to the Finance and BU leadership and to drive operational initiatives, reporting, and modeling expertise for Corporate Finance leadership and other key business stakeholders

 

Accountabilities:

  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis requirements including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, monthly, quarterly or year over year gap analysis, and gap closure planning for sales, EBITDA and cash flow.
  • Lead the financial process for the annual and 5-year strategic planning exercises.
  • Provide support to Chromalloy joint ventures in terms of budget, forecast and actual reporting.
  • Coordinate the development and distribution a Chromalloy monthly financial reporting package.
  • Drive utilization of the SBU Profit & Loss (P&L) tool through CFIn to enhance the Chromalloy overall financial performance.
  • Assist in leading the development of new FP&A processes and deliverables under the new Revenue Recognition Policy.
  • Provide Business Units with financial analysis to drive better understanding of program cost drivers and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Responsible for review and approval of returns on OE and Aftermarket new business financial proposals.
  • Drive and ensure linkage between cost reduction initiatives and the income statement.
  • Support ad hoc management & customer requests for financial information including support of Senior Leadership presentations.
  • Manage and supervise, hire, terminate, promote, train and develop and conduct performance appraisals of team members.

  • Functional / Technical Skills: Demonstrated financial analysis and modeling expertise with high standards of accuracy and precision; In depth understanding of financial statements and core finance and accounting concepts; Knowledge of financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Hyperion (HFM, SmartView, Planning); Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

  • Action Orientation: Highly driven and self-motivated; Capable of working in a deadline oriented environment; Ability to work independently and proactively to develop solutions with minimal guidance; Ability to think creatively

  • Informing: Ability to recognize key issues and effectively communicate to management; Ability to provide the information people need to know to do their jobs and make accurate decisions

Qualifications

Skills:             

  • Requires demonstrated success leading a Finance organization as a partner with operations and corporate leadership in understanding key financial metrics, forecasts and trends.  
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to use sound judgment and challenge assumptions when appropriate
  • Proven ability to influence senior management as relates to conclusions based upon analysis and findings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven flexibility and ability to cope with pressure resulting from changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines and reporting requirements
  • Must demonstrate an effective communication skill/sty
