Job Description:
SUMMARY:
The Administrative Coordinator provides high level administrative support to the Office of Student Affairs, with relevant cross training to additionally support administrative needs within the Office of Medical Education at the discretion of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. This position reports to the Operations and Student Affairs Manager and will support the Assistant Deans within the Office of Student Affairs, the Director of Career Development, as well as programming and all essential functions for the Office of Student Affairs. The Administrative Coordinator will also work with University partners and Medical School stakeholders to establish, maintain, and enhance cooperative and collaborative working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and community members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree plus 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working at a Medical School will be highly desired
Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Google Calendars, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Docs is advantageous
Job Competencies
Ability to complete complex tasks independently within deadlines.
Outstanding computer/technical skills, particularly database management. Must be proficient with both Mac and PC.
Collaborate and work effectively in a team setting
Excellent communication skills ‐ both verbally and written
High-level attention to detail and accuracy in work is essential
Excellent time management and organizational skills required
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure
