Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance imaging examinations in a complex environment

• Demonstrate knowledge of MRI examinations as well as procedures/protocols that require the use of MRI contrast agents

• Demonstrate knowledge of MRI equipment operation and safety procedures 

• Displays excellent computer and communication skills

• Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality in all matters

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Certified in MRI ARRT MR or registry eligible. If registry eligible, registry must be completed within 18 months

• Previous experience in Pediatric MRI imaging and or Radiology is preferred

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
