About the role
Managing production and supply plans for a portfolio of products to ensure that finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost
Main responsibilities:
- To establish a constraint 18 month production plan for the factories within the scope of responsibility (including sub/contracting and/or co-manufacturing where relevant) ensuring continuous product availability in all receiving locations
- To establish committed capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments etc. providing information on the continuity of supplies for the Marketing and Sales departments
- To create a feasible and optimal production plan that respects capacity defined (available capacity), to signal and effectively address all potential capacity issues in proper advance
- To identify possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18 month horizon balancing flexibility and reliability
- To contribute to cross functional planning activities such as Monthly Production Review according to Best Practice
- To actively support the Strategic Volume Planning process (i.e. Capex Planning) by providing capacity simulations, scenario planning and contingency proposals
Our expectations:
- University degree in Economic or technical subjects is preferred
- High analytical skills, accuracy and very good organisation of priorities, eye for details
- Responsibility, independence, initiative and result focus
- Proactive approach aimed at identifying the root cause of a problem and finding effective corrective actions
- Min. 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite - knowledge of the SAP-APO system will be an additional advantage
