  • Manage employee schedules and payroll through various systems

  • Manage technology in company equipment
  • Ensure all company equipment (half-tons, storage facilities, etc.) are kept up to JDI standards
  • Ensure all legal and environmental permit requirements are met properly
  • Educational Requirements: Trade Certification/College Diploma or experience in forest road construction and maintenance
    • Experience Requirements: 3-7 years in the forest industry
  • Mechanical knowledge is considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Excellent ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven thinking
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
  • Able to give accurate directions and maps to job locations
  • Ability to so some physically demanding tasks, such as picketing
