POSITION SUMMARY
The Pump Assembler performs assemblies and testing operations of multiple pump assemblies, service kits, and sub-assemblies. The Pump Assembler will put water pump apparatus together by utilizing basic and specialty hand tools, and will check assemblies for proper fits, adjusting and replacing parts and components as required. The Pump Assembler manages the inventory of parts and coordinates the work schedule with the delivery of pieces.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Organizes parts to be assembled, tested, and moves completed parts to appropriate area for shipping, stocking, or rework.
- Tests built pump to ensure that the apparatus meets all the specifications and quality requirements and determines product rejects for rework or scrap.
- Utilizes basic and specialty hand tools to assemble all pieces of the water pump together.
- Performs basic testing and troubleshooting of the pumps.
- Performs simple set-ups for test stands, fixtures, and other test equipment.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
Tools to be utilized:
Hand Tools, power tools, grinders, cut off wheels, tape measure, Rosenbauer N/NH Series specific tools, heating pad, and torch.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA’s): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience:
- High school diploma/GED.
- 2+ Years of Rosenbauer build experience preferred.

Skills:
Language:
- Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books.
- Able to read and understand a tape measure accurately.
- Able to follow written and verbal directions.
Math:
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Computer:
- Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot.
