We are hiring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based positions in Harrisonburg and surrounding areas for the 26-27 school year. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
This is a great opportunity for new graduates, individuals taking a gap year, or candidates who did not gain entry into graduate school and want hands-on experience in the field, as well as experienced SLPAs.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or a related field
- Interest in working with children in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Interviews at The Speech and Language Center:
Our interview process is designed to ensure that you feel confident about joining our team. The first step is a video chat with a member of our recruiting team, where you can learn more about the SLP A role and career opportunities at MTSKids. From there, we invite candidates to an in-person interview to meet members of our clinical team and observe a therapy session. By the end of the process, you will have a clear understanding of who we are and how our SLPAs contribute to children's progress.
