About the role

This role involves overseeing and coordinating Mobile Medical Vehicle visits to correctional institutions across Nevada. As the Confinement Clients Relations Manager, the individual will serve as the primary point of contact within all facilities, nurturing client relationships throughout the state. Responsibilities include managing on-site visits, coordinating vehicle logistics, overseeing clinical encounters with offenders, and handling the recruitment, training, and evaluation of personnel. Additionally, the role involves ensuring program compliance to meet regulatory standards.

The Confinement Clients Relations Manager will work closely with the Project Manager, VP of Clinical Operations, and Medical Director. A comprehensive background in correctional management is essential, incorporating expertise in security protocols, contraband management, emergency response, and advanced aspects of correctional safety. The role also encompasses day-to-day technical and administrative tasks as required by CDR Health Inc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Manages the movement of the mobile medical vehicle between institutions and cities for site visits.
  • Acts as a liaison with correctional leadership to maintain communication for on-site visits.
  • Ensures the operational efficiency of the mobile medical vehicle, including coordinating maintenance with bus mechanics.

Staff Management:

  • Collaborates with the VP of Clinical Operations in the recruitment and scheduling of CDR Health clinicians and project-assigned employees.
  • Schedules and coordinates the training of CDR Health clinicians and employees assigned to the project.
  • Provides oversight and decision-making for daily activities of the mobile medical vehicle.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Advises supervisors/management, consultant services, and medical staff on movement, scheduling, hiring, and training procedures related to the Mobile Medical Vehicle.
  • Responsible for evaluating and modifying the entire scheduling program of the bus within the project.
  • Acts as a liaison between the correctional institution and CDR, effectively communicating findings, needs, and goals to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Administrative Duties:

  • Performs a full range of administrative duties, including preparing reports, purchase orders, receiving reports, pay vouchers, and expense reports as needed for project cycles.

Security Responsibility:

  • Along with all other correctional institution employees, the Confinement Client Relations Manager is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the security of the institution as directed by the department of corrections personnel.

Requirements

  • Excellent Writing Skills are critical to this position.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and execute proposal instructions and responses, tailoring responses to effectively communicate proposal strategy.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills ability to take ownership of assignments from start to finish.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized.
  • You must work well under pressure and be able to occasionally work irregular hours to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 5+ years in correctional confinement industry.
