Supervisor, Warehouse

Primary Function:
To oversee direct reports in all areas of Warehouse/Production Operations. Objectives are corporately set and
include but are not limited to cost improvements, service improvements, system design and implementation and
attain all company safety objectives. Impeccable communication skills are invaluable in this position.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day supervision of warehouse staff and departments.
• Plan, assign, follow up and report on departmental objectives.
• Communicate and liaise with other departments.
• Ensures changes are made with schedules.
• Makes sure all skids are stacked properly.
• Ensures product is shipped correctly.
• Ensures shipping fills orders in a timely fashion.
• Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork.
• Trains staff and monitors their performance and progress.
• Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
• Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters.
• Carrying out responsibilities for the use of computerized systems.
• Briefing team leaders on the issues for that particular day.
• Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.
• Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
• Work with the CIC to routinely audit and verify inventory counts, accuracies, and product rotation.
• Coordinate and assist in communicating customers’ expectations with Production, Shipping and
receiving.

Shift : Thursday - Saturday  alternating Wednesday 12 pm - 12 am

Education/Background Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
• Previous related work experience required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
• Highly proficient in computer use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally,
present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees and external contacts.
• Must maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other Company data, including
personnel information.
Working Conditions:
• Refrigerated warehouse environment.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
