SUMMARYAgile Defense seeks qualified candidates for support of the Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) capabilities of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Nimitz Operational Intelligence Command (OIC).  Agile Defense provides IT support services to ONI OIC to include tier 1 through 3 on-call support, planning and scheduling, customer/user support, systems engineering and technical assessments, software engineering, system administration and operation, database administration and development, system/software testing and break-fix support.  Further support includes migration of MDA capabilities to the cloud, and the application of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) tools to existing MDA data sets. 
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, implement, measure and fabric and host-based technologies for networking.Resolve highly complex technical issues on Oracle Cloud and Exadata On-Prem platforms, spanning across database footprint including Exadata architecture, Real Application Clusters, High Availability, Data Guard, Corruption, Backup and Recovery.Install, configure, and maintain of complex network of Cloud and on-premise systems.Assist with integrating services across Cloud and data center.Contribute to the prioritization of requirements and matching of resources with requirements.Establish baselines and configuration control. Reviews CMDB and identifies opportunities for improvement.Administer, maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of customer databases.Support the production and non-production Oracle databases by; correcting issues, supporting routine and ad-hoc data change requests, creating documentation, implementing and monitoring daily and nightly database maintenance jobs, and monitoring, diagnosing, resolving, and responding to system failure and performance issues and taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and eliminating recurrence of the problem.Analyze and improve system performance.Act as a subject matter expert and resource in the area of database management.Formulate and implement backup procedures for all customer databases.Document new or modified infrastructure solutions, test activities/results, and workflows.Perform database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired CertificationsDoD IAT Level II Certification.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSRequired SkillsDatabase architecture knowledge and administration.Solid ability to use CellCLI, ExaCLI, DCLI, ExaDCLI, patchmgr, and other Exadata administration tools in various situations.Solid hands-on experience with Exadata configuration, security, and administrationExperience in Exadata monitoring and troubleshootingSolid hands-on ability to update/patch different Exadata machine componentsAble to backup different Exadata Database Machine components and databases on ExadataExperience with clustering technologies from different vendorsThorough understanding of the Oracle database featuresExtensive hands on interaction with large Database management systems.ZDLRA, Backup and Recovery, RMAN, knowledge of various restore and recovery scenarios.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental ConditionsContractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.Core Business hours 9:00 - 3:00 with flexibility.
