We are currently seeking Service Technicians to support the marketing and sales fleet at headquarters and while traveling.  As an Event Support Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing Lucid Motors vehicles. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of vehicles with the ability to travel 75- 100% of the time.

The Role:

• Travel with the Marketing & Sales teams, providing technical support & upkeep of marketing & sales vehicles 
• Support new market launches and gallery/service center openings 
• Ability to travel up to 75% - 100% of the time
• Repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis while traveling and on-site at HQ
• Maintain a high knowledge level of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems
• Ability to demonstrate and teach learned technical skills/knowledge with others
• Demonstrate attention to detail and passion for creating positive client experiences
• Become an embedded part of Beta Build, becoming a technical expert in Lucid vehicles

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including previous experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains
• Customer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
• EPA 609 Certification
• ASE Certification(s)
• Must possess a valid driver license
• Flexible work availability and ability to travel as needed to support Sales & Marketing efforts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Startup experience 
• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments 
• Fabrication experience  
• Ability to drive non-commercial truck and trailer 
• OEM Certified Master Technician 
• EPA 609 Certification 
• OEM Specific Technician Training 

Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.   Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
