Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads technical documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, specifications, special reports, and any other customer deliverables and documents.
- Works with management, technical staff, authors, and subject matter experts (SME) to define documentation content, guidelines, specifications, and development schedules.
- Organizes, develops, drafts, revises, and edits detailed deliverables and documents for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensures technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.
- Assists in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations.
- Maintains records and files of work and revisions.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- Five (5) or more years of experience performing business and process analysis.
- Five (5) or more years of developing business requirements to include: process narratives, user stories and personas, use cases, business rules, business and system models, interface design and definitions, wireframes, data flow diagrams, and data mapping.
- Five (5) or more years of experience supporting release implementations, including creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Ability to resolve requirements conflicts through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience developing presentations and presenting to clients.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Clearance Requirement:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a public trust clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
