What We Are Looking For:

The Software Engineering Intern will collaborate with the engineering team in learning, documenting, and building our digital platform and its architecture. To ensure success in this role, candidates should have advanced programming skills, experience with web application development, and excellent troubleshooting skills. This role will report to the Lead Software Engineer and is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.

What You Will Do:

· Work on a PoC as an internship project.

· Identifying bottlenecks and improving software efficiency.

· Implement scalable web services, application UIs and APIs.

· Collaborate on documenting digital platform design and architecture.

· Contribute to infrastructure as code using Terraform.

· Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

· Proficiency in full stack development skills.

· Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

· Interpersonal skills.

· Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
