How can you make a difference? 

UNICEF GSSC is looking for a dynamic individual with skills to develop and implement a comprehensive, future-oriented learning strategy that integrates modern delivery methods including AI-driven support, peer-to-peer learning, and on-the-job training to build both current capabilities and future-proof competencies across the organization that strategically aligns with organizational priorities and embedded in the evolving culture of the GSSC.

The Learning & Development Officer plays a strategic role in designing and executing the learning architecture for the Global Shared Service Centre during its critical transformation from a global service center to a Global Business Solutions (GBS) model, aligned with UNICEF's modernization agenda.

1. Learning architecture co-design
2. Learning Needs Analysis and strategic partnership building
3. Coordination of learning and training offerings
4. Budget planning and management
5. Training delivery

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Minimum requirements:

• Education: A university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in learning & development, human resource management, psychology, International Relations or another related field is required.
• Work Experience: 
• Two years of professional experience in learning & development, in designing and delivering learning initiatives working closely with subject matter experts, and in the identification of learning needs are required.
• Experience in facilitating workshops, both in -person and online, is highly desirable.
• Experience both with an international organization and with a shared services/business support center is highly desirable.
