What are you going to do?

We are seeking a dynamic PHP Engineer to join the fully remote team and contribute to the company’s hypergrowth. On top of being a highly effective coder, the ideal candidate will be an extremely effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, and should have informed opinions about how to deliver top-quality software in a professional context. Our ideal candidate has an innate ability to simplify complexity, tell stories with data, and build intuitive tools our users love.

• Connect front end user flows with backend services in efficient and reusable patterns to support multiple customers across the Incentiv ecosystem including private equity investors and private company CEOs and CHROs
• Work with public cloud infrastructure to facilitate a fast moving ecosystem (we use AWS)
• Own the entire lifecycle of services and web applications, including live operations and deployment
• Design, create, deploy, and operate user flows for sign-in, sign-up, and account management
• Craft solutions using modern SQL and nonrelational databases
• Work together with both upstream and downstream service owners, producers and other cloud infrastructure and embedded DevOps engineers to ship solutions

• Proficient in HTML & CSS
• Proficient in modern object-oriented PHP
• Proficient in modern web development tooling
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Experience with cloud technologies (we use AWS)
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
