The Bridges & Mentoring Program Director will oversee and implement comprehensive programs to support the holistic development and well-being of families by ways of strategic planning, program management, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Overall, the Bridges & Mentoring Program Director contributes to the CHS high performance culture by exhibiting our values and providing quality results that position CHS as the leader in delivering proactive behavioral health, case management, community and early childhood solutions for children and families.

Primary Job Functions

  1. Oversee and implement diverse, comprehensive programs to support the holistic development and well-being of families by ways of strategic planning, program management, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure high-quality of services.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate family development programs, contracts, and agreements on the unique needs of all populations.
  • Create strategies to enhance family well-being, promote positive parenting, and strengthen family bonds.
  • Monitor program performance, assess outcomes, and implement improvements based on data-driven decision making.
  • Act as primary liaison with funders to satisfy contract requirements and attend funder meetings, as required.
  • Develop long-term plans and goals for family development services in alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
  • Identify emerging trends, research findings, and best practices to inform program development and improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate family development services into the overall organizational strategy.
  • Identify grants and funding sources; partner with Grants Team to prepare federal, state and community grant applications.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization in community forums, advocating for the needs of families and promoting the organization's services.
  • Collaborate with external organizations and local communities to expand resources and support for families.
  • Develop and manage the budget for family development services, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource allocation.
  • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and seek additional funding to support program sustainability.
  1. Recruit, develop and lead a team capable of supporting CHS performance and growth strategies (complying with COA Standard TS, when appropriate), while fostering an engaging, positive work environment.
