Drive Excellence in Global Trade Compliance at Collins Aerospace!  The Senior Analyst, Global Trade Investigations and Disclosure will investigate potential violations of global trade laws and regulations. The selected candidate will serve in Collins Aerospace Mission Systems Global Trade team.  

The ideal candidate will work hybrid to our Cedar Rapids, IA, or Burnsville, MN locations though we are open to considering candidates to be based at other US locations or offering a remote option.

What You Will Do:

• Evaluating, via interviews and document review, allegations of potential violations of global trade compliance laws and regulations

• Managing an active caseload, consistent with internal and US Government deadlines, using RTX’s matter-management tool

• Working collaboratively with members of the larger Global Trade team to identify root causes of regulatory violations and to implement robust corrective actions

• Briefing Collins Aerospace leadership on status of ongoing global trade investigations

• Documenting the closure of matters that do not give rise to a reasonable suspicion of regulatory violation

• Provide consistent interpretations of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

• 1+ years experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and knowledge of Jurisdiction Classification Assessments

• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior experience in global trade investigations

• Experience with Commerce License and STA exception preparation/administration

• Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience
