Physical Therapist - Outpatient Clinic - Orthopedic PT Position

Job Description

Mercy Orthopedic and Rehabilitation is the leader in evidenced based orthopedic and sports medicine care.  All therapist work closely with the talented orthopedic physicians here at Mercy Health.  The treatment model is impairment based and focused on; a hands-on evidence-based care that is delivered on a one to one basis.  Therapist are trained in the latest advanced skills including, dry needling, manual therapy and manipulative skills, evidence-based return to play and advanced sports medicine training.  The population of focus for the orthopedic team at Fairfield Hospital is, out-patient orthopedic, post-surgical, spine and sport medicine.   Mercy Fairfield works closely with many area high schools including Fairfield High School and Winton Woods High School.

 Specifically, you’ll need:

• To evaluate, plan, and implement Physical Therapy services using an impairment base approach according to the standards of practice, governing laws of the State of Ohio and facility and department policies and procedures
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in Ohio
• CPR certification
• Orthopedic Certification Preferred
• Manual Training or Certification Preferred
• Ability to thrive in a team environment including, Physicians, PT’s, PTA’s and other rehab professionals.
• Ability to educate patients, families, caregivers and patient treatment teams
• Ability to manage a busy case load effectively.
