We enable our customers to discover new and existing features in a vast universe of applications and market data.</p><p></p><p>We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a highly collaborative, multi-functional, agile product development team responsible for building the best-of-class core UIs focusing on customer experience, engineering perfection and time-to-market.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><p>Software Development:</p><ul><li><p>Design, develop, and maintain web apps and web services using ensuring scalability, security, and high performance</p></li><li><p>Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code</p></li><li><p>Conduct code reviews and establish standard processes for software development</p></li></ul><p></p><p>System Design and Architecture:</p><ul><li><p>Architect, deploy, and run applications on AWS and Azure platforms</p></li><li><p>Optimise cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performance</p></li><li><p>Contribute to architectural decisions for back-end systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Product, Design, DevOps engineers to build end-to-end solutions</p></li><li><p>Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues</p></li><li><p>Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Project Management:</p><ul><li><p>Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and roadmap development</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting both technical and business objectives</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Essential Technical Skills and Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of professional experience in software development</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of RESTful API design and micro-services architecture</p></li><li><p>A deep understanding of how Web Browsers work, including in-depth knowledge of:</p><ul><li><p>Native browser (DOM) APIs</p></li><li><p>Object-Oriented and Functional Programming</p></li><li><p>Performance - <span>Layout/Rendering/GC/Object</span> (memory) Management</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Understanding of how web frameworks like Angular/React/Vue work under-the-hood</p></li><li><p>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices</p></li><li><p>Experience with Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure)</p></li><li><p>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Benefits</b>:</p><p></p><p>We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about
