Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Private Duty

Location: Hornsby, TN

Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8 AM - 12 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and companionship to the patient in their home
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the patient

Requirements:

• CNA certification in TN
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting clients with either personal care or home management tasks
• This would include assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care related tasks
• Home Management includes tasks that include basic housekeeping, shopping and other related housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirements is 18 years
• Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy
• Certification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide care
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
• Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
