We are seeking a skilled Applications Programmer to join our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support our HR functions. This role requires a strong understanding of HR processes and systems, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with HR professionals to enhance our technological capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development: Design, develop, and implement custom HR software applications, modules, and tools.
System Integration: Integrate new and existing applications with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and other related systems.
Customization and Configuration: Customize off-the-shelf HR software to meet the organization's specific needs.
Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for HR applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Data Management: Ensure data integrity and security within HR systems and applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR professionals to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for applications, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
Compliance: Ensure that all HR applications comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and quality assurance of HR applications to ensure they meet the organization's standards.
Project Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring for HR technology projects.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in application development, preferably within the HR domain
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or others relevant to the organization's tech stack.
Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
Proficiency with HTML
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based HR solutions.
Understanding of HR processes and best practices.
Certification in relevant programming languages or HR systems.
