Smart Plant P&ID Administrator

Wood is currently searching for an SmartPlant P&ID Administrator to participate in project assignments out of the Wood Houston - Park Ten campus.  This person will a member of our growing Global Engineering and Design Systems team.

Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship is required. Local candidates preferred, as there is no per diem or relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Smart Plant P&ID Implementation
  • Set-up, development, configuration
  • Scoping and estimating development activities
• Project set-up, maintenance and administration
• Define symbols (including parametric), data dictionary customizations, formats, filters, and rules
• Global workshare set-up, monitoring and maintenance 
• Interface with global IT for hardware and software setup requirements
• Create, maintain and document company standards
• Coordinate / Instruct training classes based on project or client needs
• Contribute to and configure software to adhere to company vision regarding data integration and warehousing

Required

• Design discipline background
• Understanding of database concepts
• Comfortable with MS Office suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• High support drive, team player

Preferred

• 3 years SmartPlant P&ID Administration
• Understanding of SPPID datamodel a plus
• SQL, VB.Net, C# experience a plus
• AutoCAD Experience a plus
• Experience with other engineering disciplines a plus
