** Mechanical Source Inspector  **

 

Seeking an Aerospace Mechanical Source Inspector to support a suppliers in the Washington (Seattle & Tacoma) regions. This is an on-going, part-time contract.

 

Job Details:

• Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at supplier’s facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications and other PO requirements
• Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage

Experience required:

• Minimum 5 years of precision mechanical inspection experience is required.
• Strong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&T.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a must.
• Experience working with tight tolerances.
• Hands-on mechanical inspection experience.
• Must have experience working with Mil-standards.
• Previous source inspection experience.

 

Requirements:

• Will be working as an independent contractor (1099).
• Must have LLC/DBA or able to obtain an LLC/DBA.
