Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Finance and Administration (DFA), the Business Services Professional is responsible for exercising discretion, analytical skill, personal accountability and responsibility in a wide range of areas including academic, administrative, managerial and student services functions. Work involves creating, integrating, applying and sharing knowledge directly related to a professional field. Work may be performed fully independently. We are seeking an individual who is collaborative, communicative, detail-oriented, organized, proactive, able to think critically, focused on quality, dedicated to personal growth, and highly motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and manages schedules, collaborating closely with the Department Chair, the DFA, Department Faculty, and subject matter experts (SME) on complex issues.
Serves as the initial administrative contact for the Department of Neurology, using diplomacy and public relations skills to appropriately refer questions to the Department Chair, DFA, and Business Services Program Directors, Staff, Faculty and Research Services.
Coordinates, prioritizes meetings, and manages and updates Department Chair’s schedule.
Maintains the Department Chair’s files (paper and electronic).
Manages annual faculty evaluation scheduling and coordination.
Assists with the Department Chair’s involvement of faculty promotions, by ensuring all required recommendation paperwork is received and meets all University/Department requirements.

Work Location:
Hybrid – This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings in Aurora, CO.
