Meet the Team

As a Product Lifecycle Supply Chain Project Manager at Cisco, you will serve as a critical bridge between product development, manufacturing, and global supply chain operations. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects to ensure the seamless introduction, sustainment, and end-of-life management of Cisco’s industry-leading hardware and software solutions. You will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end supply chain readiness, mitigating risk, and driving operational excellence throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the ability to influence collaborators across global organizations to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Your Impact

Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain projects for new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining engineering changes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.

Coordinate across cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing Operations, to ensure supply chain readiness.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle, developing contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.

Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budget requirements, providing clear reporting to leadership on status and critical path achievements.

Drive continuous process improvements to enhance supply chain agility, reduce costs, and improve cycle times.

Ensure adherence to Cisco’s quality standards, compliance requirements, and sustainability goals throughout the product lifecycle.

Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, or a related operational role within the technology sector.

Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment.

Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) processes and supply chain fundamentals.

Advanced proficiency in data analysis, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant technical field

PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.

Experience with ERP systems (specifically SAP) and PLM software (such as Agile).

Deep knowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio and manufacturing ecosystem.

Experience in leading Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement initiatives.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and get results in a matrixed organizational structure.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
