Business Operations Manager

Lyft is looking for a Business Operations Manager to partner with our Heads of Engineering and Product on the strategy and operational cadence of the business. This role is a trusted advisor to Lyft’s executives in driving results, facilitating effective and focused discussions, and ensuring efficient operations. We’re looking for a self-starting and high-performing candidate with previous organizational management experience, deep bias for action, a passion for solving ambiguous problems, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies
- Collaborate with Lyft’s technical and product leadership team to identify, develop and implement high-impact business process improvements
- Support Lyft’s leadership team in developing appropriate reporting, communication, and operations in order to accelerate the process towards growth, development and commercial targets
- Managing the executive’s schedules, scheduling meetings and planning travel
- Providing department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork & collaboration
- Working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards organization goals
- Identifying and helping solve core problems or opportunities within business processes
- Providing executives and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on the organization’s operations
- Owns the creation and operation of the annual Rhythm of the Business including developing program, operational, and people meetings.
- Manages expense and headcount management for the team; working closely with executive leaders on expense and budget reconciliation.
- Facilitate and cascade internal and external stakeholder communications regarding key decisions, information and strategic direction
- Management of the team’s communication and collaboration vehicles (i.e. Slack, Google Groups, internal websites).
Experience:
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Must be a self-starter with consistent follow through.
- Experience driving process improvements through successful cross-functional department coordination.
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with change management process and/or methodologies
- Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and process oriented.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must possess strong organizational skills including the ability to balance multiple priorities.

This role is work-from-anywhere in the U.S., excluding U.S. territories.
The base salary range for this position in the US is $95,940 - $119,600. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
