The Opportunity
As a Senior Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for providing development team members with the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles. You will play a crucial role in delivering effective training programs that engage our team members, ensuring that they are well-equipped to navigate a rapidly evolving technical landscape. You will:
Lead the development and delivery of training initiatives that align with our company's technical objectives and strategic vision.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials that effectively convey technical concepts.
Facilitate workshops, virtual sessions and hands-on activities to support our team's learning and development needs.
Evaluate and elevate the effectiveness of our training programs through seeking feedback and continuous improvement strategies.
Defines, creates, manages and delivers quality system procedure and skills training, on the job training, other training, and retraining courses ensuring that established training goals/objectives are met.
Monitors the quality/effectiveness of courses and presentations designed for Quality Systems, and makes revisions/modifications as needed; includes developing competency assessments to determine effectiveness of training and using outcomes of those assessments to improve course content and deliver methods.
Partners with other learning resources, such as external vendors, to provide additional trainer education when needed.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provides feedback and guidance.
May lead moderate sized projects with manageable risks and resource requirements such as creation of tracking tools for team metrics and training assessments, training for implementation of global initiatives, processes and tools.
Who You Are
Master's degree and 3+ years relevant experience
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years relevant experience
1+ years of experience delivering/facilitating technical training for adults
Preferred
Ability to present technical and non-technical information through various delivery methods.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, manage multiple projects and function in a fast-paced, change oriented environment.
Ability to work with a moderate level of guidance and direction on work assignments, as well as flexibly to work as a team member.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong collaborator with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders.
Strong organization skills.
Experience in teaching or training.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson AZ is $75,600.00 - $140,400.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
