The Sr. Financial Analyst, reporting to Sr. Manager of Manufacturing, will be responsible for providing financial analysis and budgeting/forecasting support for US operations.  The position is a hybrid role reporting physically at Dole’s Atwater, California location. 

 

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, creating comprehensive financial models, forecasting future trends, and providing recommendations on cost optimization while collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive business growth.  To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate would have strong analytical skills, expertise in financial modeling, and effective communication skills to present findings. 

Responsibilities

• Primary Accountabilities:

  • Financial Modeling and Analysis, develop financial models to illustrate historical trends, current performance and future forecasts. 
  • Financial Reporting, prepare/update financial reports such as cost breakdown, management reporting package, etc.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting, collaborate and support different departments to create and manage budgets, providing accurate financial forecasts based on market trends and company goals. 
  • Data Analysis and Insights, utilize data analysis tools to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform evaluation and decision-making. 
  • Investment Analysis, evaluate potential investments (CAPEX), including due diligence, ROI and risk assessment, to recommend optimal allocation of capital. 
  • Business Partnering: work closely with cross-functional teams (ATW/DML functional leaders) to understand their workflow and assess financial support in conjunction with the management.
  • Presentation and Communication, clearly present complex financial information to management, including recommendations and actionable insights. 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• SAP experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of accounting (GAAP) and financial principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•  Experience with data analysis and visualization tools

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead.

• May require occasional travel

Hiring Pay Scale: $_100K_to $ 110k_
