Senior Tax Manager, Global Income Tax Provision

Location Details:

If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. Reporting to the Global Provision Senior Tax Director, you will provide support for the global reporting process by calculating the global tax provision and ensuring the accuracy of worldwide tax accounting positions. You will assist with the U.S. and International tax reporting process and tax operations, including process and policy development, technology and automation, and other special projects. As the Global Provision Senior Tax Manager, you will collaborate with a team of tax professionals supporting a fast-growing, globally growing company whose mission is to help small businesses make their mark on the world! You will collaborate with teams in Global Finance, Accounting and Tax to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and achieve the goals and priorities of the GoDaddy organization.

What you'll get to do...

• Be part of a team of tax professionals to account for all aspects of global tax accounting and reporting, including calculating the effective tax rate, current and deferred tax provisions, taxes payable, and return to provision adjustments
• Application of income tax reporting guidance (ASC 740) to different fact patterns to figure out appropriate U.S. GAAP accounting
• Assist in the preparation and review of the tax sections of the company’s SEC reporting and footnote disclosures (10Q and 10K)
• Maintain and own the inventory of uncertain tax positions
• Assist with tax provision analytics that is communicated to management and external auditors
• Keep up to date with federal legislative and regulatory tax developments
• Identify process improvements to support ongoing direct tax technology process transformation
• Support the diligence and integration processes for special transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and business initiatives

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of experience with corporate income tax provisions (ASC 740) and compliance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax
• Strong understanding of Tax and GAAP accounting principles
• OneSource, Alteryx, and Workday experience are a plus
• Knowledge of domestic and international income tax laws
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to complete a project within the scope of overall strategies

You might also have...

• Big 4 public accounting / public company experience preferred
• CPA designation desired but not required
