Position Summary:

Join us as we expand our cutting-edge Cell Therapy Autoimmune organization. We have an opening for an Executive Director, US Commercial, to lead the launch of zola-cel (CD19 NEX-T CAR T) in Rheumatology. This role will report to VP, Cell Therapy Autoimmune Brand Team.

With deep expertise in Cell Therapy and Immunology, BMS is in a leadership position to bring the transformational potential of CAR T cell therapy to patients with autoimmune diseases. Zola-cel is a catalyst asset with the potential to transform the treatment paradigm in autoimmune diseases like Systemic Lupus and Systemic Sclerosis.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead development and execution of zola-cel launch strategy in Systemic Lupus and Systemic Sclerosis, in collaboration with the matrix team, including global commercial, to achieve brand ambition and financial forecasts.

  • Lead Matrix team to develop and deliver launch promotional strategy and tactical launch plan to achieve sustainable differentiation and rapid adoption at launch

  • Lead matrix team to develop and deliver market shaping and disease state educational campaigns

  • Partner with Medical, Sales and Access leads on customer model development and implementation

  • Develop innovative direct-to-patient and caregiver strategies and solutions aligned to cell therapy care models

  • Collaborate with Market Access to develop and implement payer access and patient support strategies

  • Develop credible topline forecasts in partnership with Finance and Analytics teams

  • Build strong team by attracting and developing talent, and fostering an inclusive values-driven culture

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • 15 years of experience in biopharma industry in commercial functions e.g. strategy, US/global marketing, sales, analytics or market access

  • Rheumatology and/or Immunology experience required, Cell Therapy experience preferred

  • US Brand marketing (HCP or Patient) experience required

  • Track record for driving brand performance through collaboration and strategic thinking

  • Strong communication skills to provide expectations and strategic vision for other functions

  • Initiative, creativity, and ability to work effectively in a complex, rapidly changing environment.

  • Track record for driving results by staffing, building and leading teams.

  • Proven team player with ability to navigate and collaborate cross functionally

  • High learning agility, sense of urgency, deep passion and accountability mindset required

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully and effectively collaborate, cooperate and work across boundaries internally and build strong external relationships in a matrixed environment

  • BS/BA degree required. Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, PharmD) preferred

Compensation Overview:

$239,080 - $289,708

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
