Project Manager Senior

As a Project Manager Senior, you will be responsible for managing projects of varying size and complexity, following standardized project management processes. You will oversee all project related disciplines required for the successful and timely completion of the project. You will develop effective relationships with internal and external customers.

Essential Functions

• Develop, finalize, and manage the timeline, budget, security plans and monitors the process for projects. Manage the scope of projects to ensure they are completed in an accurate and timely manner according to the customer’s and Company’s requirements. Perform actual to plan comparison on the project, identify any deviation from the project baseline and request timeline extensions and/or additional monies. Ensure projects are meeting internal quality control standards and that internal quality control reports are prepared.
• Assist in the hiring and training of staff. Provide input to management regarding performance of project team members.
• Manage customers’ expectations with regard to projects and works with the customer to turn ideas into future business opportunities.
• Provide input regarding project management processes and assist in preparing cost and technical proposals.

Requirements

• Four year degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business or related field, and/or equivalent training and/or experience.
• 5+ years experience managing projects using a formal project management methodology.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and MS Project Server preferred.
• Experience with CMMI or similar SDLC methodologies preferred.
• Up to 10% local and overnight travel.
