What We Are Looking For
Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to be actively involved in team research meetings and will primarily be focused on data analyses from the Global Flourishing Study. The successful candidate will be involved in the writing of scientific papers to be submitted to peer-reviewed journals on various aspects of human flourishing. The post-doc should have significant quantitative as well as statistical skills in order to conduct and publish rigorous longitudinal research.
A Doctoral degree and less than one year of relevant work experience are required.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Completing data analyses from the Global Flourishing Study (GFS); primarily concentrating on data interpretation and the writing up of findings and results
- Play an active role as a co-author on several different papers from the GFS
- Completing literature reviews for relevant papers stemming from the GFS
- Complete other research outside of the GFS that will lead to publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with other ISR colleagues on various research projects
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
