Financial Analyst

Overview

Primary responsibilities will be to perform fact based financial analyses on all aspects of the company that are timely, accurate and clearly presented to management for review.

Job Specific Responsibilites:

• Develop annual operating, capital and financial statement budgets.
• Prepare and continue to improve upon monthly and quarterly analyses of financial results and operational metrics.
• Complete monthly actuals vs. budget variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial projections and financial models as needed.
• Develop a full understanding of the industries related to the Company.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Minimum one year of relevant work experience (internship experience is accepted), preferably Telecom industry.
• Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team.

PREFERRED:

• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Access or relational database software preferred.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen.
