Maintenance Mechanic III - Full Time

Required Education and Experience: High School graduate or equivalent. Specialized vocational training in maintenance field a plus. Completion of technical courses in electrical, plumbing and/or mechanical HVAC / air handing equipment

Must possess a higher level of mechanical aptitude and progressive proven skills in mechanical and electrical systems. Must have experience in using maintenance and testing equipment conducive with a MMIII job classification.

Preferred Education and Experience: Completion of a 2 year Associate of Science Degree program, or completion of a 2 year vocational program related to building maintenance / building systems technology. 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry’s building maintenance field after/or in conjunction with program attendance.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Must be service oriented and display diplomacy and tact. Must be capable of lifting equipment on a regular basis in accordance with the established lifting limitations. Analytical thinker, solutions orientated, trade skills, with quality of workmanship drive. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s license and be insurable according to Watson Clinic requirements.
