Academy of Art University is seeking a Lab Technician for our School of Industrial Design to work directly with students, faculty, and staff to support the shop environment. This individual should have excellent communication skills and a passion for student success. This position is on-site in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform junior-level network administration for Windows and Mac network environment
• Perform software and hardware installation, troubleshooting and upgrades
• Assist students with any software/hardware issues that may arise
• Provide support and assistance to the Department Director
• Provide support to department for Spring Show and other events as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service. Provide a cordial and friendly presence to students, faculty and staff.
• Maintain guidelines set forth by the Academy of Art University
• Maintain a clean, functional and productive learning environment
• Protect equipment from theft or vandalism
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation: $22.00/hour
