Academy of Art University is seeking a Lab Technician for our School of Industrial Design to work directly with students, faculty, and staff to support the shop environment. This individual should have excellent communication skills and a passion for student success. This position is on-site in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Perform junior-level network administration for Windows and Mac network environment
- Perform software and hardware installation, troubleshooting and upgrades
- Assist students with any software/hardware issues that may arise
- Provide support and assistance to the Department Director
- Provide support to department for Spring Show and other events as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service. Provide a cordial and friendly presence to students, faculty and staff.
- Maintain guidelines set forth by the Academy of Art University
- Maintain a clean, functional and productive learning environment
- Protect equipment from theft or vandalism
- Perform other duties as assigned
Compensation: $22.00/hour
