Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift
Position Location: Hybrid in Virginia Beach, VA (hybrid schedule to be determined)
Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Job Summary:
The Supervisor, Email Marketing Production is responsible for leading the execution and delivery of marketing email campaigns across the enterprise. This role oversees a team of email producers to ensure timely, accurate, and brand-compliant deployment using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or equivalent platforms. The supervisor owns the production workflow, QA process, and coordination with creative and campaign teams to ensure each deployment meets quality, compliance, and timing expectations.
The role also partners closely with the Email Campaign Consultant (strategist) to ensure calendar alignment, capacity planning, and campaign performance insights are translated into production execution. This position is focused on operational delivery and execution, rather than audience strategy or content planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily workflow and quality control for all scheduled email deployments across campaigns and BAU
Supervise email producers, assigning requests, balancing workload, and reviewing work prior to deployment
Manage technical accuracy and QA checks including rendering, formatting, links, personalization, and UTM tracking
Collaborate with the Email Campaign Consultant to review campaign performance metrics (open rate, CTR, unsubscribes) and apply insights to production processes where applicable
Coordinate with Campaign Management and Intake teams to confirm deadlines, audiences, and deliverables
Maintain governance standards for naming conventions, file formatting, approvals, and brand compliance
Support optimization of deployment processes and documentation of SOPs
Partner with MarTech and strategy leads on tagging, data mapping, and troubleshooting
Serve as point-of-escalation for production blockers or urgent deployment requests
Participate in internal resource planning, huddles, and email capacity discussions
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
- 2 yrs project management experience required
- 2 yrs marketing required
