About the role
A business partner to the Division General Managers and local management teams, the Regional Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing full life cycle HR support to their assigned region.
A key member of the Albireo management team, the Regional HR Manager will be responsible for:
- Establish trusting consultative, proactive relationships with Divisional General Managers and their leadership teams.
- Provide coaching to managers with regard to communication, feedback, recognition and employee development.
- Act as a change agent to support integration efforts and drive cultural change following M&A activities.
- Collaborate with the HR and Talent teams to identify best practices and support the deployment of HR initiatives.
- Support HR team in communicating and executing recruitment strategies in the assigned region.
- Provide support with regard to performance management, progressive discipline and documentation, employee development and people planning.
- Identify management development needs, and actively participate in the succession planning process.
- Provide on-going training to managers to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and employment law.
- Handle employee relations issues for the assigned region - conducts confidential investigations, resolving employee conflict, wage and hour issues, EEO, Harassment and other employee relations issues.
- Review, consult and approves performance-based terminations.
- Conduct regular HR audits within the assigned region to ensure compliance.
- Ensure that all federal, state and local laws are proactively managed, including but not limited to ADA, EEO, FMLA, etc.
- Lead local on-boarding for new employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR roles with increasing responsibilities.
- Experience in labor relations and talent acquisition.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong experience in HR operations, supporting multi-states preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Solid understanding of HRIS systems, data analysis, HR metrics and reporting.
- Willingness to travel up to 35%.
