Job Description Summary

Maximus Federal, a leading provider of innovative business process management and technology solutions for the Federal government, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sr. Director, Digital Platforms and Solutions who is an accomplished technical leader, proactive customer-focused advocate, and a team player. This role will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and operational excellence in DevSecOps standards, building solutions using a Software Factory approach. This role requires a deep understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, Tools and Technologies, a strong grasp of industry best practices, and the ability to lead and collaborate. You will bring a deep understanding of Engineering best practices, extensive experience in Digital Transformation and a proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:•Lead, develop, maintain, and execute Maximus Federal Digital Engineering strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.•Establishes and ensures best practices for the software development lifecycle including solution architecture, build, and test, deploy, run, and sustain.•Lead the building of full-stack automated CI/CD systems and promote best practices for building and operating highly reliable systems.•Fosters a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, and excellence while continuously elevating the quality and caliber of our digital engineering organization.•Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on Digital Engineering initiatives. •This role requires the ability to work cross functionally with various teams, and key stakeholders delivering clear recommendations to improve results.•Stay current with software engineering trends, and best practices.•Evaluate and select new tools, technologies, and vendors that can drive innovation and business value. Qualifications:•12+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation projects•Experience with designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining software applications at enterprise scale.•Experience in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to align technical initiatives with business goals.•Deep understanding of systems engineering, and an expert in Digital Engineering (DE)•Expert knowledge in Agile practices, SDLC, and ITIL/ITSM standards, and DevSecOps •Experience with one or more Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud •Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills and the ability to stay current. •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience
