Night (3rd) Shift Feed Mill Transportation Dispatcher / Candor

Summary

Dispatches trucks according to customer needs and requirements within the guidelines of the company feeding programs. Coordinates feed orders with customers and servicemen's needs as well as feed orders with panel operators on a daily basis.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• SET UP LOADS IN AUTOMATED LOADOUT SYSTEM AND LOAD TRUCKS BY PRIORITY.  
• WEIGH ALL FEED RETURNS, DISPATCH LOADS ACCURATELY TO MEET USDA STANDARDS. 
• OPERATE, ENTER INFORMATION, AND GENERATE TICKETS AND REPORTS USING OUR COMPUTER SYSTEMS. 
• ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE VIA TELEPHONE AND RADIO TO PRODUCERS, DRIVERS, FLOCK SUPERVISORS AND RECORD INFORMANTION. 
• COMPLETE ALL ASSOCIATED PAPERWORK, CHECKS, AND CLEANING DUTIES TIMELY AND ACCURATELY.
• COMPLY WITH ALL PERDUE PROGRAMS RELATED TO LOADING FEED TRUCKS EX: NAE, APF, FDSA AND FSMA. 

Minimum Education

High School or equivalent

Experience Requirements

• 0 -2 years experience.
• Reading, Writing, Math and analytical skills required with high school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills are also required.  

Experience Preferred

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

EXPOSED TO A CLIMATE CONTROLLED OFFICE TEMPERATURE AND OUTSIDE WEATHER CONDITIONS. A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF AIR BORNE DUST.  MUST WEAR REQUIRED PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. MUST BE ABLE TO CLIMB 20 STEPS TO GET ON THE SECOND FLOOR WHERE THE DISPATCH OFFICE IS LOCATED.
