As a Security Professional - Government Facility Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a prominent government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally while monitoring access points and assisting with badge control as needed. This position requires driving as part of your daily duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for access control and incident reporting.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
