Job Summary:
Accountable on a 24 hours basis for the daily management and quality of care for assigned patient population. Provides leadership, collaborates and communicates inter/intra departmentally to promote a world class environment.

Professional Standards
- Monitors resources required to implement the unit patient care delivery model for maintaining high level patient and family satisfaction and outcomes.
- Assists with development, monitoring and achievement of budget and unit objectives in alignment with the hospital strategic plan.
- Facilitates resolution or management of customer issues/concerns/comments.
- Participates as a member of the Nursing Leadership team on assigned committees, teams and meetings.
- Pursue lifelong education, current on professional changes and best practices within the healthcare system.
- Maintains productivity goals established.
- Provides assurance that the technical proficiency and educational background of the staff is maintained for the work performed.
Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and certification is required, MSN preferred.
- Licensure: Registered Nurse license from the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
- Experience: Five years of nursing experience.
