Integration Data Specialist

The Data Management Analyst works with various teams within Willis Towers Watson to perform updates, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting on carrier data feeds as well as work with Microsoft Excel, SQL and internal systems to update carrier plan data in accordance with data received from carrier partners, specifically carrier partner applications and delivery of carrier partner enrollment files. In addition, the Data Management Analyst provides general knowledge to Carrier Data teams on system functionality and processes. The Data Management Analyst will work closely with internal teams to ensure that recurring issues are resolved through updating file exchange formats and processes. This position is responsible for being the technical expert regarding Enrollment Files and their transmission. The Data Management Analyst will vet work requests and ensure that all requirements have been provided in order to help resolve any concerns/discrepancies. Data Management Analysts track the progress of tickets and projects from start to finish within established deadlines. The Data Management Analyst position is a carrier-facing role where clear and concise communication is a must. The Data Management Analyst will also work with individual carrier account managers to escalate any issues that need attention from a Carrier partner.

The Role

• Complete regular updates on applications or enrollment files.
• Address any issues with enrollment or enrollment files in a timely fashion.
• Accurately maintain a tracking log of active and unresolved issues for individual carriers.
• Review and maintain technical specification documents by carrier.
• Maintain a historical log of carrier requirements.
• Resolve escalated issues in a timely manner to promote customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for managing assigned queues and completing requests in a timely manner.
• Concurrently and effectively manage project work and service desk queue. 
•  Work with internal departments (call center, development, product, and client) to assure smooth internal operations.
•  Help facilitate ingestion, manipulation, loading, maintenance, and delivery of data for new products and new carrier partners.
•  Maintain data with the highest level of accuracy. 
• Ad-Hoc reporting using SQL Server and Power BI. 
• Provide QA testing in coordination with carrier's requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Requirements

• Medicare and Individual Family Plan knowledge a plus
• Self-motivated, highly analytical, organized and uncompromisingly detail-oriented 
• Advanced time-management skills and the ability to meet or exceed deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

• Introductory knowledge of delimited file conventions, other industry-standard data formats, data transmission methodologies, and Microsoft Excel.

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel 
• 2+ years of experience with SQL (SQL Server or other)  a plus 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to others and understand their concerns

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.
