Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) is seeking a Faculty Recruiter Administrative Assistant (Administrative Assistant III) to oversee and manage the administrative areas of the faculty recruitment process for the Department. This position will work closely with the SMPH faculty recruiter, faculty and departmental leadership to ensure that all logistics for the recruitment day is properly organized, managed and executed correctly.

Responsibilities:
Provides general administrative support, while exercising discretion, to the administrator of a department or division of the institution or to the administrator of multiple institution programs, services, and activities.- 30% Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations
- 25% Serves as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups, provides organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums
- 30% Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, and reviews work done by others
- 10% Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures
- 5% Develops, implements, and maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures

Education:
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Qualifications:
At least two years of administrative experience or equivalent required.
Experience planning, organizing, and scheduling meetings required.
Experience working in an academic or clinical environment required.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite required.
Experience creating recruitment itineraries is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
-Excellent time management skills.
-Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
-Excellent organizational, decision-making, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Work Schedule:
Hours are flexible, and are Monday through Friday, in the range of 8:00am - 4:30pm.

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Minimum $26.02 HOURLY

The starting salary for the position is $26.02 for hour, but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
