Business Analyst - Strategic Planning

Your mission

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Strategic Business Analyst to join our team. This position will focus on ensuring effective planning, analysis, and control of strategic initiatives while driving the preparation and monitoring of business cases, cost-saving plans, and budgets. The successful candidate will also collaborate with various departments to provide project management and control support.
 
This position works closely with the Strategic Planning Director, Finance team, Executive Committee, and cross-function departments to develop strategic initiatives that will boost operations and global outcomes.

Your profile

• Strategic Plan and Project Oversight:
  • Review, monitor, and control the execution of the company's strategic plan and strategic projects with the Strategic Planning Director and Senior Management stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between strategic goals and project outcomes.
• Business Case Preparation:
  • Develop comprehensive business cases to support new initiatives and strategic decisions.
  • Analyze financial, operational, and strategic implications of proposed projects.
• Cost-Saving Plan Development (2025–2028):
  • Create and implement a detailed cost-saving plan for the company to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability.
  • Monitor progress and report on savings achieved against targets.
• Budget Review and Expense Control:
  • Oversee and analyze Schiller's budgets and various expense lines.
  • Prepare and present quarterly reports on financial performance and expenditure trends.
• Project Support Across Departments:
  • Provide assistance to other departments in managing and controlling their projects.
  • Offer guidance on project timelines, resource allocation, and financial planning.

Position requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a business/financial or similar role
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Strong creative and analytical thinking
• Strong time-management and people skills
• Experience with budgeting and budgetary software.
• Either native English speaker or proficiency level of English competency
• Valuable knowledge of French, German or Spanish
