Overnight Security Officer
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Overnight Security Officer. In this role, you will provide a safe environment through clear communication, patrols, confidentiality, and knowledge of company policies and procedures.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.
This is an hourly wage role
Key Responsibilities
- Security officers interact with guests and associates throughout their day, as they walk patrols, answer resort questions, and enforce company policy and local law.
- Provide security for Kalahari property, enforce laws and company policies, and deter illegal activities from city, state and federal violators
- Maintain proper operation of the security equipment and ensure all hotel security standards are met.
- Check in with the shift supervisor and/or manager-on-duty on arrival, review security logs and reports daily.
- Receive a briefing from the dispatching officer who is being replaced to find out what incidents have happened during the previous shift and where services might be needed most, and review any current complaints that were unanswered
What We’re Looking For
- Previous law enforcement and/or security investigations experience is preferred but not required.
- General working knowledge of local, state and federal laws. Hotel or Resort experience is preferred but not required.
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
- CPR Certified
