Visual Designer

Key Role:

Work on a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment to develop compelling strategic communications in support of client initiatives. Produce communications and visuals for a variety of purposes, including client briefings and representations of stakeholder experiences. Work across teams, build knowledge of diverse capabilities and components of the project, and tell comprehensive stories visually. Convert complex data and information into graphics, mockups, diagrams, and presentations. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with graphic design in a professional environment
• Experience with Adobe Suite creative apps, including InDesign and Illustrator
• Experience with visual design
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate concepts across different audiences and varying levels within an organization
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage time effectively, and be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to think creatively, synthesize information, and communicate clearly
• Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities to improve processes, and standardize approaches
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience working in data and analytics programs
• Experience with UX and user-centered design
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of information architecture, workflow design, information management, and governance for site usability
• Possession of excellent copywriting, content creation, and written and verbal communication skills
