Fabric Production Assistant

Our Company:  BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Director with daily emails and production/sourcing inquiries
• Create and/or Update Excel charts by factory daily with revisions
• Manage sample yardage fabric ordering for design team/pattern makers
• Assist with Raw Material Creation
• Daily follow-up with cross functional partners on open production issues
• Receive/check-in and prep daily packages
• Special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in fashion, product development, or similar field
• 1-2 years experience working in fabric, production, or similar role
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Good time management with sense of urgency
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
• Production background is a plus!

The salary for this full-time, permanent position is between $45,000-$50,000.
