Are you an experienced EMT with a strong sense of duty and a passion for keeping others safe? We're seeking a professional and proactive EMT Security Officer to join our team at a high-traffic retail center in Central Valley, NY.

This is a foot-patrol-based, high-visibility position—ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to protecting the public. If you live nearby and have what it takes, we want to hear from you!

Location: Central Valley, NY

Schedule:

Wed & Thurs: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Fri, Sat & Sun: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

Local candidates only. Must be able to reliably commute to the site.

What You’ll Do:
Respond immediately to medical emergencies and provide first aid care

Conduct active foot patrols throughout the property to ensure safety and security

Serve as a calming, professional presence during high-stress situations

Document incidents, communicate with emergency services, and complete detailed reports

Interact with guests, staff, and first responders in a courteous, professional manner

Requirements:
Current EMT certification (NYS) – Required

NYS Security Guard License – Preferred (or ability to obtain quickly)

Prior experience working in public safety, emergency response, or security

Ability to remain calm and think clearly in high-pressure situations

Must be physically fit and willing to walk large areas during each shift

Strong customer service and communication skills

Must be at least 18 years of age
