Industrial Maintenance Supervisor

Are you an adept Industrial Maintenance Supervisor ready for a new challenge? BHS Corrugated North America is on the lookout for a talented professional to join our team at our customer site in New Lenox, IL. This position is vital in ensuring high customer satisfaction by minimizing equipment downtime through strong leadership and proficient maintenance management.

Primary Duties:

• Supervise a team of industrial technicians, ensuring timely and accurate completion of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both the plant and our technicians.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in corrugator production processes.
• Efficiently plan and manage all onsite maintenance activities and oversee parts inventory.
• Act as the primary liaison with the customer regarding BHS equipment matters.
• Work closely with plant management to meet production targets.
• Facilitate discussions to address and resolve equipment downtime issues.
• Conduct weekly maintenance program meetings.

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on electrical and mechanical tasks.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Strong orientation toward customer service.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, steam, PLC programming, and relevant software.
• Experience with corrugated equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
