The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for the stocking and distribution of supplies from the Storeroom to various user departments.Job Description:
EDUCATION
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- Prior distribution experience is preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Prior knowledge of hospital related supplies and inventory control preferred.
- Effective communication skills; both oral and written are required.
- Ability to prioritize work load and ability to work with minimal supervision are highly desirable.
- Responsible for charge capture of moveable medical equipment throughout the Nursing units.
- Responsible for the distribution of IV Solutions/KCL to nursing units.
- Prints and affixes patient charges to supply items prior to placement on Storeroom shelves.
- Assists with receiving of supplies and verification of item count to match packing slips.
- Responsible for mail pick and distribution.
- Communicates effectively with all departments throughout the Hospital.

Pay Range is $31.83 to $39.97 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
